Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Administrator to support the financial operations of a large-scale infrastructure project. This role involves ensuring seamless invoice processing, accurate timesheet management, and efficient vendor coordination. You will play a key role in maintaining strong vendor and subcontractor relationships and supporting the Finance team with critical month-end and year-end deliverables. Essential Responsibilities:
1. Match invoices against purchase orders and forward them to approvers.
2. Review vendor statements to ensure all payments are captured and processed timely, maintaining positive relationships and avoiding late fees.
3. Address invoicing discrepancies with vendors professionally and efficiently.
4. Receive and process timesheets from field personnel, ensuring approvals and coding are complete and accurate. Respond courteously to inquiries.
5. Set up vendors, subcontractors, and craft personnel in systems, maintaining profile information such as contact details and banking information.
6. Learn and apply organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
7. Establish accounts with local suppliers for site needs.
8. Assist the Finance team with month-end and year-end deliverables.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Accounting or related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Experience in tracking budget expenses and data entry.
4. Experience working with vendors.
5. Proficiency in basic math operations.
6. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
8. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple activities with attention to detail.
9. Strong follow-up skills.
Compensation
$43,600 - $59,950 annually. The actual pay will depend on experience, skills, education, and location.
