About the Role
Milk Education is working with a supportive and inclusive school in Abbey Wood to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of students with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
2. Assist class teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
3. Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour
4. Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
5. Work closely with SENCOs and external professionals where needed
The Ideal Candidate
6. Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
7. Patient, adaptable, and proactive
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Passionate about helping all students reach their potential
