Medical Secretary - CYPMH

We are currently recruiting a forward thinking, reliable, enthusiastic established administration professional to join our busy administration team as a Medical Secretary based at Whitegate Drive Health Centre, Blackpool, aligned to the Specialist Network.
As a vital team member you will provide excellent administration and communication skills and work flexibly in response to the service needs. You will provide a comprehensive secretarial, administration and information service to the specified Consultant(s) and the Multi Disciplinary Team. You will facilitate the organisation of the workload for the Consultant(s) and co-ordinate your activities with other medical Secretaries and administration colleagues, to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. You will also provide day to day support to the CYPMH team and administration colleagues.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive secretarial, administration and information service to specified Consultant'sand their team. To facilitate the organisation of the workload of the Consultant and their team andcoordinate their activities with other medical secretaries to ensure and efficient and confidential serviceis provided.

Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
* Good Level of education including Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent.
* Business Administration NVQ 4 or equivalent ECDL.
Knowledge
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of Safeguarding Agenda.
* Knowledge of Customer Service approaches.
Experience
* Data inputting and checking.
* Administration of meetings - organising, minute taking, document management.
