Craftworks College is looking for a qualified and or experienced Teaching Assistant, to work with students who have behaviour issues. The person needs to be able to work with a range of special educational needs and young people, who are disabled and/or disadvantaged, studying horticulture, animal care, creative crafts and Maths and English. The person will be dedicated to work with students 2 days a week and then available to support the development of other TAs and support teams across other groups.
As a college we are very committed to the personal and professional development of our staff and will enrol the successful candidate onto any relevant courses on completion of their probationary period.
Craftworks College as part of the Brogdale CIC Group works across 6 sites delivering education to disadvantaged and disabled young people in Swale and Ashford. For a little company there is a lot going on and we have been developing our college offer. The applicant will need to be computer literate, have education to level 2 in English and Maths and be able to self manage and work as part of a team.
