Job Description
We’re looking for a Brand Manager to join our UK Marketing team and lead growth for our iconic instant coffee brands – Kenco, L’OR and Douwe Egberts. This role is ideal for someone analytical, creative and entrepreneurial, shaping the category through breakthrough innovation, strategic thinking and impactful execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Set the future vision for the portfolio and define long‑term brand positioning and portfolio strategy.
* Lead the innovation strategy, identify whitespace opportunities, execute pipeline plans and champion disruptive ideas.
* Accelerate recruitment of the next generation of coffee drinkers with targeted initiatives and campaigns.
* Manage breakthrough renovation and innovation plans from concept to launch across product, packaging and go‑to‑market execution.
* Respond to consumer, category and customer performance & trends by monitoring market data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
* Drive brand communication and activation in collaboration with equity and communication teams for digital, in‑store and experiential channels.
* Collaborate and partner across functions and with global teams, working closely with Sales, Category, Supply Chain and Global Marketing.
* Manage financial performance and build robust business cases, track P&L impact and ensure projects deliver against agreed KPIs.
Qualifications / What We’re Looking For
* Prior experience in Marketing, preferably within FMCG, with a strong understanding of brand building and portfolio management.
* Hands‑on exposure to digital marketing and shopper activation, including development and execution of campaigns.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
* Proven project management capabilities, managing multiple stakeholders from planning to delivery.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, relationship‑first mindset across functions and global teams.
* A proactive, self‑starter attitude – comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives forward.
* A “can‑do” spirit with agility to adapt in a fast‑paced, growth‑driven environment.
