It is a public service organisation. They have a requirement within one of theirmunity departments for a Clerical Officer to join their team. This is a temporary position with an immediate start. The role will be office-based, working hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your new role
As Clerical Officer, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of the department. Your duties will include: maintaining general filing systems and ensuring records are up-to-date. Operatingputerised information systems with accuracy and efficiency. Handling iing and outgoing mail, including routine correspondence. Prioritising and organising workloads to meet departmental needs. Managing telephone and reception duties with professionalism.pleting faxing, photocopying, and general clerical tasks. You will be responsible for typing minutes of meetings, liaising with internal teams and external agencies, including booking interpreters and ensuringpliance with data protection legislation and adherence to confidentiality policies.
What you'll need to succeed
As Clerical Officer, you will have 5 GCSEs (Grades A–C) including English Language or equivalent/higher qualification OR
A minimum of 2 years’ administrative/clerical experience.
Additional requirements:
A full UK driving licence and access to a car upon appointment
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
High level of reliability and flexibility
Excellent interpersonal andmunication skills
Proficiency inputer packages including Microsoft suite
