Responsibilities
* Work as part of an administrative team to support multidisciplinary clinical and administrative colleagues in delivering a high-quality administration service.
* Contribute to a positive patient experience and the highest levels of customer service.
* Monitor and review patient care and/or treatment progress using the Patient Tracking List in line with Trust and local policies.
* Identify next steps in the patient care pathway from the tracking list, aligned with clinical need.
* Ensure pathways are actively managed and that appointments are scheduled in accordance with the Trust’s Access Policy.
* Develop an understanding of milestones within the allocated pathway for patients in designated groups and suggest improvements to the patient care pathway and/or the pathway tracking process.
Qualifications / Essential Criteria
* Excellent understanding of the 18-week RTT process and knowledge of the Trust’s Access Policy, with a commitment to adhere to these policies according to National Trust Guidelines.
* Understanding of the 2WW cancer pathway and related processes where appropriate.
* Ability to monitor and review patient care and treatment progress using the Patient Tracking List, and to actively manage pathways and scheduling in line with policies.
