As the Senior Manager of Consumer Proposition and Insights, you create value by implementing and extracting learning from consumer and dental professional adhoc research studies. These studies range from concept testing to line optimizations, consumer journey and segmentation, communities to in-depth interviews and meta-analysis. You will work closely with the Consumer Proposition and Insights Leader to drive consumer centricity and insights-driven decision making within the Business Unit Oral Health Care.
The newly created Consumer & Proposition Insights team within the BU OHC reports to the Consumer & Proposition Insights Leader. You will be part of a team of 3 colleagues based in Amsterdam. The team collaborates across different oral care segments, multiple countries, and engages with key audiences—consumers and dental professionals. They leverage tools and frameworks developed with the Global Center of Excellence, partner with research agencies, and utilize diverse methodologies.
Your role:
1. Generating insights and identifying opportunities by combining multiple sources of information—qualitative and quantitative—that help formulate hypotheses, create winning propositions, and inform strategy (including past studies, digital data, and secondary research).
2. Conducting adhoc analyses and sharing learnings from existing Brand Health trackers—consumer and dental professional based.
3. Managing the full research roadmap for innovation projects (concept testing, claims testing, line optimization, pack testing), translating key learnings into actionable insights for project teams.
4. Representing the voice of the consumer and dental professional to inform decision-making at all stages of the innovation process (VPC, PDLM, MLDs).
You're the right fit if:
1. You have 7-10 years of international experience in marketing research, working with multiple qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies within consumer marketing. Healthcare experience is a plus.
2. You have proven skills in uncovering insights that drive strategy, identify market growth opportunities, develop new products, and facilitate workshops.
3. You are adept at synthesizing large data sets and producing actionable recommendations, communicating clearly through storytelling and visual design.
4. You possess strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating ideas confidently to senior stakeholders.
5. You demonstrate resilience, flexibility, comfort with uncertainty, and a collaborative mindset.
6. You are curious, proactive, and continuously seek to challenge the status quo to enhance the Insights function supporting brand building.
7. You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Social Sciences.
8. You are fluent in English.
9. You have advanced skills in MS Office and Power BI.
