Production Operative
Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, G64 2PY
£31,500 (including shift allowance) plus guaranteed overtime and benefits
You will be working a shift pattern 4 days on, 4 off (Mon - Sun), 12 hours per shift, from 05:30 am to 05:30 pm

We're recruiting an experienced and reliable Production Operative to join our team in Bishopbriggs.
Role overview: You will work as part of our manufacturing team to carry out duties related to the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products, using operational techniques, and creating the UK's leading roof tiles. The role involves manual handling, including powered hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment. You will work in an environment focused on safety, quality, waste reduction, and achieving operational efficiency targets.
A flexible approach to working hours is essential to meet production demands, which may include tasks outside your immediate area. Travel for training or other requirements may also be necessary.
A flexible approach to overtime is required, as it is paid at time and a third and is available to those interested.
The successful applicant should understand the fundamental workings of production machinery. An aptitude for working with automatic production systems and man-machine interfaces is essential.
Key skills and experience:
* Experience in a small/medium manufacturing environment
* FLT counterbalance license (preferred but not essential)
* Team player with attention to detail
* Good command of English, both oral and written
* Proactive and continuously looking to improve processes
