We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to lead the technical analysis of a digital platform. In this role, you will evaluate existing systems and processes, leveraging functional requirements provided by the Product Lead and Business Analysts. You will collaborate closely with the Solution Architect and third-party vendors to design and document systems integration and data mapping, ensuring solutions align with organisational objectives. This position requires both a technical mindset and a customer-centric approach to deliver solutions that meet business expectations and drive operational excellence. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the Product Leads and 3rd party vendors to facilitate the successful delivery of business systems initiatives through open and transparent communication with project teams. About the role: Participate in and contribute to requirements gathering sessions. Take ownership of the technical business requirements documentation process. Adhere to project governance and change management processes, working closely with relevant business and IT stakeholders. Adhere to our digital tooling practices, using toolsets such as MS Project, PMO SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Miro etc Adhere to our procurement, security, legal and DP guidelines where required Ensure regular, concise and transparent communication to the Delivery Lead Requirements Experience within the utilities sector Excellent time management skills; able to effectively plans own time Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills A good influencer, with the ability to resolve conflict through negotiation and discussion Proficient in systems integration, including designing and implementing end-to-end solutions that connect disparate platforms and technologies. Strong understanding of API architectures, including RESTful and SOAP services, and the ability to evaluate, design, and document API integrations. Expertise in data mapping and transformation, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of information between systems while maintaining data integrity. Skilled in analysing complex technical requirements and translating them into clear, actionable integration specifications. Experience with integration toolsets and platforms such as Azure DevOps, Mulesoft, or similar middleware solutions. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, demonstrating a sound grasp of error handling, logging, and monitoring practices. Knowledge of data security and compliance standards relevant to integration projects. Excellent documentation skills, with the capacity to produce technical diagrams and process flows for integration projects. Collaborative approach, working closely with architects, developers, and vendors to deliver seamless integrations. Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate integration challenges and propose effective solutions. Both a technical and customer-centric mindset is required to deliver solutions that meet business expectations which are essential to this position.
