Senior Quantity Surveyor Tier 1 Contractor

Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £85,000£95,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits

A leading Tier 1 main contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London & Home Counties division. This is a great opportunity to work on high-value DfE projects and progress your career within a stable, well-respected business.

What Youll Be Doing

• Lead commercial management across multiple projects
• Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts and commercial advice
• Manage your own projects independently
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and change control
• Support 2-stage tenders and framework schemes
• Work closely with project teams to ensure commercial targets are met
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams

What Were Looking For

• Tier 1 main contractor experience (essential)
• DfE project experience on schemes £20m£70m (essential)
• Strong background managing your own projects
• Experience with 2-stage procurement
• Good understanding of construction methods and sequencing
• HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
• RICS membership (or working towards) is beneficial
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
