Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. You are expected to take an active role on both sides and define how the application looks and how it works.
What you will do
* Participate in the design, development and testing of new products and enhancements to deliver better user experiences, more reliable services, and enhanced financial opportunities for the firm and our clients with a special focus on scale, resiliency and high availability.
* Maintain and enhance existing products to support the firm's daily operations by collaborating with global business users and developers.
* Take ownership of the design, development, testing, and documentation of our systems.
* Collaborate with different business users, leaders and developers on a global scale to navigate complex regulatory, business and technical landscapes.
* Cultivate strong engineering processes to improve developer experience, build high-quality software, and promote sustainable innovation.
* Acquire an understanding of our business domain and requirements.
Skills and experience we are looking for
* Degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or STEM subject, or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and delivering complex and performant web frontends supporting multiple role-based access levels.
* Frontend development and build tools such as Node.js, Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM, and Nx.
* Web / JS testing tools such as Cypress, Vitest and Puppeteer.
* Experience building secure web applications and aware of secure coding standards.
* Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, SVN, GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub.
* Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
* Enjoy working with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Energetic, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
Preferred skills and experience
* Implementing real-time UI updates using reactive protocols such as WebSockets, SSE.
* Micro-services, micro-frontends, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes and container-based deployment, dashboards, cloud application development, and automated regression testing.
* Experience in payment systems, financial services, or FinTech.
