Chisholm Bookmakers is a family run business established in the 1950s with 32 betting shops located throughout the North East of England and Cumbria. Through our association with the Bookmakers Technology Consortium we provide IT services to over 500 shops in the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a full time IT Support Technician to join our team based at our Company head office in Ashington, Northumberland. The role will primarily involve providing technical support to our customers across Chisholm and BTC client estates. You will configure & test new hardware/software for use in a production environment and carry out routine maintenance and effective housekeeping on current I.T. systems and infrastructures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years experience working within IT who has a genuine interest in technology and wants to progress their career within this field. Main duties and responsibilities: To deliver a first line support service via the Service Desk, receiving incidents and service requests from various routes including telephone, and the service desk ticketing system.
