Spennymoor Town Council is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Hospitality Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of hospitality, Front of House, and Box Office services within our community venue.
In this key role, you will ensure the highest standards of service across our developing bar, catering, and events offer; supervise and motivate the casual Front of House team; maintain excellent hygiene and safety practices; and contribute to income generation across both primary and secondary spend areas. You will also support the Community & Culture Manager and work closely with the Events Team and Duty Managers to ensure smooth, well-staffed and welcoming events.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hospitality, catering, bar or venue environments, strong organisational and customer service skills, and confidence managing staff and multiple operational areas. Experience with box office systems, stock management, and financial reconciliation is desirable.
This is a full-time role (37 hours per week) on a rota basis across a seven-day operation, including evenings and weekends. Pay grade 6 (£28,142 - £31,022).
