Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Weston-super-Mare, Somerset

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice of an independent practice in Weston-super-Mare for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon who has a passion for dentistry. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 5 weekends. There may be some occasional OOH work.
This is an established independent practice who have state-of-the-art equipment and are committed to the investment in continuous learning and development of their team. They are proudly independent and offer a full spectrum of services from wellness and preventive care and surgery to 24/7 emergency services. They have separate facilities for cats, dogs and small mammals to reduce anxiety.
They are looking for a Vet who is either experienced in Dentistry or is working towards completing the ISVPS General Practitioner Certification in Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
They will have great people skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships. They will be a team player, have great communication skills and be able to handle some occasional sole charge work. About you:
The role is determined on years of experience and be catered to suit but ultimately the Vet needs to be ambitious looking to develop clinical skills and their dentistry knowledge.
22. You will be a Vet who ideally has an interest or certificate in dentistry
23. You will be comfortable with routine surgeries, consultations and sole charge work
24. You will always deliver and be committed to providing a high standard of clinical care.
25. You will have an enthusiastic, kind, and empathetic and caring attitude.
26. You will have strong communication skills and organisational skills.
27. You will have excellent client facing skills.
28. You will work well under pressure with a calm and confident manner.
29. You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare

Package:
38. Salary: £40, to £70, per annum, commensurate to experience
