Floor Leader – Blind Tiger

Blind Tiger is an independent cocktail bar built on precision, atmosphere, and genuinely excellent service. We pride ourselves on delivering drinks that hit the mark every time - and providing a space where both our team and our guests feel looked after.
We're looking for a Floor Leader to support our Bar Leader and take ownership of the customer experience during service. You'll lead the front-of-house team, maintain energy and flow on the floor, and ensure communication between the bar and the floor is seamless.
The Role
As Floor Leader, your focus is service - keeping everything running smoothly, the team supported, and our guests happy. You'll be the key point of contact during service, resolving issues as they arise, maintaining the vibe, and working closely with the bar team to make sure drinks are delivered promptly and to spec. While cocktail expertise isn't essential, a solid understanding of how a cocktail bar operates is.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in restaurants, cafés, or busy hospitality venues who is ready to step up and help lead a high-energy bar team from the floor.
Responsibilities
* Lead service from the floor and be the go-to person during shifts
* Maintain a clear communication link between bar and floor to manage wait times and guest expectations
* Ensure service runs smoothly and guests feel welcomed, informed, and looked after
* Support and motivate the team to stay engaged, efficient, and positive
* Handle any guest concerns with professionalism and care
* Monitor pace and atmosphere - jump in where needed to maintain standards
* Assist the Bar Leader with end-of-night procedures, cleaning standards, and team follow-through
* Work with the Bar Lead on stocktake, ordering and keeping track of supplies.
* Be a key player in upholding the bar's service standards, reputation, and vibe
What We're Looking For
* Management or leadership experience in a high-volume hospitality venue (restaurant, bar, café, etc.)
* Strong communication skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach
* A good working knowledge of bar operations and drink service
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a motivating presence to the team
* Passion for excellent customer service and creating a great atmosphere
