Your future role
As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will act as the key link between the procurement team and site operations, ensuring smooth collaboration. They oversee tender preparation by managing procurement cost commitments and play a critical role in project execution by monitoring and improving supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery (QCD).
We’ll look to you for:
1. Bring Procurement expertise to support local buyer team
2. Applies & support Alstom Transport Procurement rules, process & tools
3. Challenge global sourcing - Commodity Manager (CM) and Commodity Director (CD) to secure project execution and profitability in escalation phase
4. Drive continuous improvement within whole local buyer team through APSYS Procurement
5. Manage Supplier Local QCD performances
6. Perform regular (min. Monthly) supplier QCD performance, solves major issues and secure objectives achievement
7. Support local team to face commercial and contractual negotiation during project execution phase
8. Challenge site stakeholders (engineering, supply chain, quality...) to secure project execution and profitability
9. Track procurement performance in project and issue action plan in case of deviation
10. Analyses risks and sets appropriate mitigation plan
11. Formalise and share return on experience on main issues
12. Support supply chain to monitor and secure raw material inventory and OTIF objectives
13. Support quality on Non-Conformities Report (NCR) treatment and improvement, Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ) S1 management
14. Support accounting department to align on invoice accounting and payable days
15. Manage, motivate and continuously develop his team in a multicultural interface to improve competencies
16. Close link with Global Procurement ((CM), Domain Director (DD)) to deploy Global strategies and have synergies
17. Management of its cost center, ensure the adequate sizing of his/her organisation according to the business needs
