Employee Responsibilities:
* Perform method development, feasibility, qualification, and validation for large molecule biopharmaceutical products.
* Document work in compliance with GMP standards.
* Conduct tests accurately and troubleshoot method and instrumentation issues.
* Utilize office and instrumentation-specific computer software.
* Produce documentation such as characterization reports, methods, and client reports.
* Develop and execute validation plans.
* Deliver presentations for training and client reviews.
* Train technical staff.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
* Experience with Protein Sciences, especially protein and glycoprotein characterization.
* Experience with High Resolution Mass Spectrometry.
* At least 1+ year of applied experience in HPLC.
* Experience with other biochemistry techniques such as amino acid analysis and glycosylation profiling.
* Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
* Theoretical understanding of large molecule biochemistry.
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Experience with separation techniques such as LC or CE/iCE, physico-chemical techniques like amino acid analysis, or biophysical techniques such as SEC-MALS, SV-AUC, CD, FTIR is a plus.
* 3-5 years of relevant experience, either post-doctoral or in the bio/pharmaceutical industry.
* Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
