Job Description:
Supporting the HVACR Business within Johnson Controls’ Global Products and Solutions organization, your mission will be to deliver exceptional returns across the portfolio of products by driving sustainable value creation through growth, commercial excellence, operational improvements, and organizational initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery of a robust roadmap for business growth and operations, working closely with management, HVACR teams, and central strategy, transformation, and functional teams.
The role involves defining and driving strategic initiatives, leading large-scale programs from initiation to implementation, and collaborating with various stakeholders including engineering, manufacturing, finance, and external partners. It also includes overseeing acquisitions or divestitures to support strategic plans.
Key responsibilities:
* Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead development of long-term strategic plans, define initiatives, and ensure alignment with financial targets.
* M&A and Post-Merger Execution: Collaborate with corporate M&A teams to identify opportunities and define integration roadmaps.
* Process Review and Best Practices: Support process assessments and implement improvements based on benchmarking and analysis.
* Program Management: Develop and manage a global PMO, establish KPIs, and monitor program progress.
* Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and ensure team motivation.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate communication and manage expectations.
* Mentorship: Guide junior managers and team members to develop organizational capabilities.
* Continuous Improvement: Analyze outcomes and incorporate lessons learned into future programs.
What we look for:
Required:
* MBA or equivalent advanced degree
* Background in management consulting
* Experience in Building Technologies
* Minimum 12 years of business experience with at least 8 years managing teams or programs
* Strong commercial, operational, and financial understanding
* Effective communication skills, especially with C-level executives
* Ability to operate globally and in diverse cultures
* Financial acumen and familiarity with reporting
* Strategic thinking and adaptability
* Influence and matrix management skills
