Role Summary:
Our Client is seeking a talented BIM Manager / Coordinator to join their dynamic Digital Engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the implementation and delivery of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across a range of projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of digital workflows, ultimately enhancing design quality and project efficiency. Responsibilities:
* Lead the coordination and implementation of BIM processes across multidisciplinary project teams.
* Develop, manage, and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans in compliance with industry standards.
* Provide guidance and support to design teams in the use of digital tools and workflows.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of coordinated models and data.
* Monitor model quality, clash detection, and data integrity throughout project lifecycles.
* Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and adopt emerging technologies in digital engineering.
* Deliver training and mentoring to enhance team members' BIM capabilities.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to meet BIM deliverables and contractual requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a BIM Coordinator or Manager role within the AEC industry.
* Proficiency in tools such as Solibri and ACC, with knowledge of Revit and Civil 3D.
* Solid understanding of ISO 19650 standards and associated documentation.
* Experience managing federated models, clash detection processes, and data validation.
* Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs) and structured data management.
* Knowledge of software interoperability and openBIM principles.
* Experience in mentoring or training others in BIM processes.
* Qualifications in architectural technology, engineering, or digital construction, with BIM certifications advantageous.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Additional certifications or training in BIM.
* Experience with emerging technologies in digital construction.
* Knowledge of advanced BIM applications for project optimization.
