The Senior Compliance Manager leads regulatory, data‑privacy, and operational compliance for all telematics products and services. They ensure that vehicle‑derived data, IoT devices, analytics platforms, and customer‑facing telematics solutions meet legal, ethical, and industry standards. The role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on governance, supporting product, engineering, fleet, insurance, and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Regulatory Governance — Own compliance frameworks covering GDPR, ePrivacy, FCA expectations (if insurance‑linked), ISO 27001, and connected‑vehicle standards.
* Data Protection Oversight — Lead DPIAs, data‑mapping, consent models, retention schedules, and cross‑border data‑transfer assessments for telematics data.
* Telematics Product Compliance — Partner with product and engineering to embed compliance‑by‑design into sensors, black‑box devices, mobile apps, and analytics platforms.
* Risk Management — Maintain risk registers, conduct thematic reviews, and oversee remediation plans for operational, cyber, and data‑quality risks.
