SEND Programme ManagerLocation: West Midlands / Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
Rate: £600–£700 per day (inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 months (potential for extension)
One of our key clients is seeking an experienced SEND Programme Manager to lead a high-profile transformation and improvement programme aimed at enhancing oues for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
This is a pivotal role within the team, working closely with internal colleagues, external partners, and a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the delivery of the SEND Transformation and Improvement Programme, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality oues.
2. Apply robust programmeernance, reporting, and risk management frameworks.
3. Coordinate multiple workstreams aligned with the internal SEND strategy.
4. Manage programme budgets, resources, procurement, and contracts.
5. Build strong relationships with stakeholders including families, schools, health partners, and the voluntary sector.
6. Provide regular updates to senior leaders andernance boards.
7. Ensurepliance with SEND legislation, safeguarding, and data protection.
8. Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout programme delivery.
9. Represent my clients’ SEND priorities at internal and external forums.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
10. Proven senior-level experience managingplex programmes within SEND or children’s services.
11. Experience working across multi-agency teams and parent/carer forums.
12. Strong track record in programme design, delivery, and evaluation.
13. Skilled in budget management, procurement, and contract oversight.
14. Confident in stakeholder engagement and reporting to senior boards.
15. In-depth understanding of SEND legislation and best practice.
