We are currently working on behalf of a client in Exeter, to recruit for a Surveyor on a temporary basis.
Duties of the Damp and Mould Surveyor:
* Undertake detailed stock condition surveys on residential properties, assessing building fabric, components, and services.
* Carry out HHSRS inspections in line with current legislation and guidance, identifying hazards and risk ratings.
* Accurately record survey findings using Pocket Survey on handheld devices
* Produce clear, concise, and well-structured survey reports with photographic evidence where required.
* Identify defects, disrepair, and compliance issues, recommending appropriate remedial works.
* Assess property condition data to support planned maintenance and investment programmes.
* Ensure surveys are completed in accordance with health & safety requirements and organisational procedures.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity within asset and compliance databases.
* Support colleagues with technical advice related to building condition and housing standards.
Requirements of the Surveyor:
* Strong knowledge around HHSRS & Stock Condition
* HNC qualification or equivalent
* Driving licence
