The Role:
* Provide in-class support across a range of subjects and year groups
* Work closely with teaching staff to plan and deliver targeted interventions
* Support students with additional needs to access the curriculum
* Lead small group activities and, if HLTA qualified, cover lessons when required
* Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA status highly desirable)
* Experience working in a secondary school or similar setting
* A strong understanding of how to support pupils with diverse learning needs
* Confidence in supporting the delivery of the national curriculum
* Excellent communication, teamwork and behaviour management skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their potential
