Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a IT Support Engineer to join the team.
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, Windows Server, and Azure, with a working knowledge of Datto RMM and a solid grounding in cyber security best practices. You will be the first point of contact for end-user support issues while also assisting with escalations and infrastructure-related tasks.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience P/A, plus additional company benefits (20 days holiday, company pension scheme)
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Main Duties
Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:
Provide 1st And 2nd Line Support For Users Across Desktop, Mobile, And Infrastructure Systems. Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues Related To Microsoft 365, Including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, And OneDrive. Support And Maintain Windows Server Environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy). Assist In Managing And Supporting Azure Cloud Services (VMs, Microsoft Intune). Implement And Support Basic Cyber Security Measures Including Endpoint Protection, MFA, And Security Policies. Assist With User Onboarding/offboarding, Hardware Setup, And Software Deployment. Document Procedures And Maintain IT Asset Records. The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in a 1st or 2nd line support role. Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration. Experience supporting Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022). Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and administration. Understanding of cyber security principles and tools (e.g., antivirus, firewalls, MFA).
