Sales Manager – Engineering / Manufacturing
£40,000–£50,000
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in engineering or manufacturing to join our client, an established and reputable company based in the Newark area.
The Role:
You will be responsible for leading both the internal and external sales teams, ensuring performance targets are met and individuals are supported to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and delivering a clear sales strategy to achieve growth and maximise ROI
2. Implementing and managing effective sales processes, from lead generation through to quotation and order completion
3. Overseeing key and large-value contracts
4. Providing ongoing support, coaching, and direction to the sales team
5. Monitoring performance against targets and driving continuous improvement
The Candidate
6. Proven experience managing a sales team within a manufacturing or engineering environment
7. Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving targets
8. Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
9. Excellent communication and leadership skills
