NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across clinical and non‑clinical roles. We deliver acute, primary, community and mental health care to a population of over 1.15 million and 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.


Shift Pattern

* Monday–Wednesday, Friday 08:00 – 16:00
* Thursday 08:00 – 15:30

Responsibilities

* Provide an efficient Health Records service to patients, medical and nursing staff; administer and process patient appointments for outpatient clinics, day cases and inpatient admissions accurately, ensuring confidentiality and secure storage of records.
* Deliver efficient administrative, clerical and receptionist support to facilitate effective clinical care.
* Maintain electronic and paper‑based patient record systems, ensuring information is confidential, accurate and up‑to‑date.
* Maintain patient demographic and administrative data through continual checking and updating of the patient management system.


Qualifications

* National 4 or Level 1 qualification in three subjects, including English or equivalent.
* General administration and office experience or prior clerical experience (desirable).
* Computer literacy with good keyboard skills.
* Previous reception experience (desirable).
* Prior experience of using a Patient Management System is desirable; training will be provided.
