Join Wessex Cancer Support as our ambitious Chief Executive leading our bold new five-year strategy. Wessex Cancer Support provides high-quality emotional and wellbeing support for people affected by cancer, offering personalised support for people with cancer and their loved ones. All services are provided free of charge through four drop-in cancer support centres, local outreach and online services across the Wessex region (Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight). We prioritise equitable cancer support for all.
The CEO will lead Wessex Cancer Support through a defining period of strategic transformation, ensuring the charity is financially resilient, operationally agile and mission-driven. We are seeking an experienced, collaborative and commercially minded senior leader capable of delivering our strategy, capturing our impact and driving sustainable income generation across the charity and our retail operations. You will be a resilient, inclusive and empowering leader ready to thrive in an SME environment and position us to meet challenges head-on as the demand for our services grows.

This is a hybrid position based circa three days per week at our Chandlers Ford Head Office & Support Centre and with travel across our sites.

* Proven experience as a senior leader, with a track record in strategy delivery and income generation for an SME or similar scale charity.
* Commercially minded, collaborative, and capable of working across diverse stakeholders.
