Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to take ownership of our social media presence and help generate buzz and excitement around a growing farm-based business.
This role will focus on creating engaging short‑form video content and managing day‑to‑day posting across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is confident working autonomously, understands how to use trends and storytelling to build hype, and is comfortable operating in a brand that is still evolving its formal mission and messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and publishshort‑form video content optimised for:
TikTok
Instagram Reels
Facebook
YouTube Shorts
Use trending audio, effects, captions, and hashtags to maximise reach and engagement.
Help generate awareness, excitement, and interest around the business through consistent, engaging content.
Manage posting schedules and maintain regular activity across platforms.
Monitor content performance and adapt approach based on what resonates best.
Work collaboratively with the business during the early stages of content planning and approvals.
Take increasing ownership of posting and content decisions once trust and alignment are established.
Content Focus

A broad appeal, with no fixed demographic focus at this stage
Approval & Autonomy
Content will require approval initially.
Once the approach and tone are established, the role is expected to operate with a high level of independence.
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience managing social media accounts, particularly short‑form video platforms.
Strong understanding of TikTok‑style content and platform trends.
Comfortable working with evolving brand direction and helping shape early-stage social presence.
Confident editing video content for social media.
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
Creative mindset with a strong grasp of what drives attention and engagement.
