About the Role
Every day is different in this role. You’ll take pride in crafting bespoke menus and creating memorable moments for our guests, from intimate gatherings to large-scale events. With the variety of functions we host, you’ll have the chance to plan, prepare, and take real ownership of the culinary experience within the banqueting and events area—an ideal opportunity for a Chef de Partie ready to step into a role with greater responsibility and creative influence.
We’re also committed to flexibility and work-life balance, offering options for a four-day working week for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest standard for events and banquets
* Assisting in the creation and development of innovative menus and seasonal offerings
* Maintaining a clean, organised workstation and upholding food safety and hygiene standards
* Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chefs across all kitchens within the hotel facilities
* Training and mentoring Commis Chefs to maintain consistency and excellence
* Managing section operations efficiently during service periods
* Ensuring minimal food waste and adherence to health and safety protocols
About You
You’re passionate about great food, calm under pressure, and love the buzz of events service. You thrive in a team environment and enjoy the sense of pride that comes from seeing your work contribute to unforgettable occasions.
You’ll bring
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
* Strong technical skills and sound culinary knowledge
* The ability to stay focused and efficient in a fast-paced kitchen
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for delivering outstanding food and service
