Job Title: Commercial Account Handler

Salary: £35K–£45K basic salary (DOE)

Location: Luton

Hybrid Flexible Working


My client is on the lookout for a talented Commercial Account Handler to join our thriving team. With ambitious growth targets and a director who is passionate about driving the business forward, this is an incredible time to come on board. You’ll manage a portfolio of commercial clients with premiums sitting around £15K-£20K, with exposure to Construction, Property, and wider commercial lines.

What you’ll be doing:

* Managing a portfolio of SME commercial clients with premiums up to £20K.
* Servicing a mix of Construction, Property, and wider commercial insurance risks.
* Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries with professionalism and care.
* Negotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms and creative solutions.
* Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and becoming their go-to advisor.
* Playing your part in the company’s ambitious growth journey as we expand and innovate.


What you will need:

* Experience as a Commercial Account Handler.
* Solid technical knowledge across Construction, Property, and general commercial insurance.
* Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
* A confident communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships.
* Ambition, drive, and a genuine appetite to progress in your career.
* Experience using Acturis (desirable but not essential).
