We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Scunthorpe.
This is a rewarding role supporting pupils during the lunchtime period, helping to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all learners.
The Role
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will:
Supervise pupils during lunch times, including in the dining hall, playground, or classrooms
Support pupils with a range of SEN, including communication, social, and behavioural needs
Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction
Assist with basic care needs where appropriate
Ensure the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Is patient, calm, and compassionate
Has experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting (desirable but not essential)
Can work well as part of a team and follow school policies
Is reliable and able to commit to the set lunchtime hours
Full training and support will be provided.
