My client is a successful SME within the engineering sector who have been established for many years, based in Ferndown (Dorset). Your new role
You will report to a dynamic, supportive HR Manager who I have worked with before and who thrives on developing colleagues across thepany. You will enjoy a varied, interesting role as an HR Coordinator based in their Ferndown Head Office, with occasional travel to another local site in Dorset.
The HR Coordinator will provide essential support to the HR Manager in the daily operations of the HR department, playing a key role in ensuring smooth processes, maintainingpliance, and fostering a safe and efficient work environment. This position is very important to the business as they want to ensure a happy and engaged team at all times.
Working hours: 38 / week, Monday-Friday: or, Monday-Thursday (preferred, but considered too) and and an early finish every Friday. This is a site-based role due to the industry, but flexible start / finish times as above, and flexitime is also offered where you can accrue up to 8 hours (1 day) / month to take when you like.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience as an HR / People Administrator, Assistant or similar looking for the next stage of your career. A CIPD qualification will be an advantage, but experience in a role as above will be considered.
This role requires a highly organised, efficient person with a positive attitude and approach who can absorb new information, work independently as required (but with support from the on-site HR Manager) and who can turn their hand to anything, happy to take on different responsibilities as required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to take on some Health and Safety responsibilities are important too.
