Homestyle Blinds and Interiors is a family run business located in Ballymena. We are a leading interior business dedicated to providing our customers with the best customer service and design expertise alongside providing them with our top quality products.
We are recruiting for a part time position.
We are wanting to expand our friendly team and will be looking for sales assistants for our Ballyclare showroom. This role will be in a fast pace environment and will involve dealing with multiple customers/projects so does come with responsibility in managing them efficiently. Full training will be provided
Job Title: Sales Advisor
Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities
* Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations
* Understand and communicate product features, benefits and specifications.
* Handle customer enquiries, feedback and keep them updated on their orders
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Diary management for our fitters
* Assist customers with choosing products for their home
* Dealing with customers over the phone, by email and face to face in the showroom
* Colour matching
* Designing Projects
Creating invoices and processing payments
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Have a good understanding of Microsoft office applications
* A minimum of 2 years in a sales role
* Have an interest in interior design
* Be able to read measurements both metric and imperial
* Must have minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
* Good telephone manner essential
* Be enthusiastic and willing to learn
