We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Extended Schools Manager to lead and manage our busy wraparound care provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with leadership skills and a passion for working with children and families.
Hours of Work:
* Term-time only (38 weeks per year)
* Before and after school club hours (flexibility required)
* Some additional hours for training/meetings may be necessary
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day running of our breakfast and after-school clubs
* Line manage and support staff, ensuring high-quality provision at all times
* Plan and deliver a stimulating programme of activities for children aged 4–11
* Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory requirements are met
* Build positive relationships with parents, children, and the wider school community
* Manage administration, bookings, and resources efficiently
Requirements:
* Experience of working with children in a leadership/managerial role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A recognised childcare or playwork qualification (minimum Level 3) desirable
* Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
