Your New Company You will work for a large privately owned construction company based in the Greater Manchester area. The company are looking for an experienced and friendly payroll administrator with experience using SAGE 50 to join their office on a Monday to Friday basis. Your new role In your new role, you will manage and process the entire payroll process from start to end on a weekly and monthly basis using SAGE 50 and EQUE2 gathering information from employee timesheets. Also, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of employee payroll calculations are entered/calculated, you will meet strict payroll deadlines and have a high level of confidentiality. You will stay well-informed and up to date with any legislation or changes in employment status, tax, pensions and maintain the upkeep of pension submissions. You will regularly review and process corrections, acting as the main contact for internal employees for any payroll related enquires. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, can work independently as well as collaborate with the wider team to build strong relationships at all levels. Have knowledge of tax codes and pension legislation, along with Excel and Microsoft skills. Some preferred skills would include SAGE 50 experience and EQUE2. A CIPP qualification is desirable or relevant payroll experience.
