The successful candidate will be required to relocate to Bermuda; relocation costs will be covered by client. Our client is seeking a Mammographer Technologist to join their team and be responsible for acquiring the best possible diagnostic and screening images whilst maintaining the highest standard of patient care. Job Responsibilities: Assessing patients and accurately obtaining their clinical history in order to assist the radiologist in determining appropriate radiographic procedures. Performing screening and diagnostic radiographic examinations (mammograms and bone density scans) on patients to produce high-quality images whilst adhering to the ALARA principle. Accurately recording imaging identification and patient documentation using the PACS and RIS systems whilst observing protocols to ensure compliance with data protection and patient confidentiality. Preparing the biopsy equipment and assisting the radiologist in image guided biopsies. Observing and maintaining contact with patients during their stay in the department and providing support according to their needs. Participating in the Reject/Repeat Analysis and Quality Control programs and ensuring that any equipment malfunctions or faults are reported. Understanding and observing health and safety at work and welfare issues, including ionising radiation regulations, to protect themselves and others. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent diploma in Radiologic Technology A minimum of three years previous experience Current professional registration Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with patients, clinical staff, other employees and medical staff from other facilities.
