We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to work across our Sexual Health services in Barts Health NHS Trust.
No previous Sexual Health experience is necessary however,you should have an interest in this department and a desire to work within a fast-paced environment.
Reception experience is essential, as this role includes greeting service users and visitors, and office based administrative experience is also essential.
A large part of this role involves navigating around our booking system, taking calls within our call centre and responding to emails from patients and other healthcare professionals. Therefore, experience in these areas isdesirable.
Referral processing and patient list management experience, along with confidence in using Cerner Millennium or similar patient record systems is also desirable.
Please note, you will be required to work some evenings and Saturday shifts at various sites across Barts Health NHS Trust.
Main duties of the job
To provide admin, call centre and reception support to the Trust's clinics ensuring the provision of an excellent "front of house" and admin service. In conjunction with the medical and nursing team provide seamless outpatient care for The Trust's patients ensuring that all patients, relatives, and visitors to the Department are always dealt with in a courteous manner.
The post holder will be expected to rotate to various clinic areas. Working 37.5 hours per week, evening shifts and Saturdays will be required.

Qualifications
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
Experience
* Experience using customer focused administrative system.
* Worked in a customer focused environment or as a receptionist.
* Previous office based administrative experience
* Previous experience working in an NHS environment.
* Previous experience using CRS, Inform and Microsoft 365
* Previous experience of working in a service call centre.
Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Able to manage competing workloads and use initiative
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
