What you will do
* Assess and provide appropriate occupational therapy interventions to clients to promote independence and well-being
* Work collaboratively with social services, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders to create individualised care plans
* Help clients achieve and maintain functional abilities through therapeutic activities and adaptations
* Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and modify plans as needed
* Provide advice and support to clients, carers, and families on adaptive equipment and techniques
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting, adhering to professional standards and local policies
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist
* A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
* Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the UK
* Experience within the NHS is preferred
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
