SEN Teaching Assistant – Blackpool, Lancashire
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnership primary schools in Blackpool, Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people while developing your own professional skills.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025 on an ongoing supply basis, with the potential for a temporary to permanent position. This role will involve working closely with pupils in Key Stage 2 who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities. As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Blackpool, you will provide tailored support, helping learners to engage with lessons and achieve their potential.
The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy, patience and excellent communication skills. Prior experience of supporting SEND learners is desirable, but we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
