Where will you be working?
At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will join BES - which provides a fully-integrated service to clients within the pharmaceutical, life sciences and healthcare sectors, using our expertise to develop bespoke solutions to meet each client’s project-specific requirements. We combine design, digital innovation and construction capabilities to provide a complete multidisciplinary offering, including process engineering, structural and civil, architectural, mechanical/HVAC and electrical services.
What will you be doing?
You'll play a key role in keeping projects financially on track by closely monitoring costs and preparing monthly forecasts. This includes making sure everything aligns—from costs already incurred to those committed, anticipated, and any variations that arise. Your input will help shape and refine our commercial practices as we grow.
You'll also be a trusted source of commercial support, preparing applications, invoices, and variations, and offering valuable insights throughout the life of each project.
Part of your role will involve preparing and keeping an eye on risk analysis schedules and KPIs, helping us stay proactive and informed. And when it comes to new opportunities, you’ll be right there, supporting the tendering and estimating process to help us put our best foot forward
What you’ll bring
Proven experience in NEC Contracts The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail. Qualified in Quality Surveying or related discipline Ideally experienced in sectors like Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Nuclear, or similar regulated environments
