Are you an inspiring and skilled Head Chef ready for your next challenge? The Golden Fleece Inn, a well-loved food and accommodation destination on the edge of Snowdonia, is looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
What you'll do:
* Lead and motivate a busy kitchen team, setting high standards for food quality and service
* Create delicious, seasonal menus for our loyal locals, business travelers, and holiday guests
* Maintain excellent hygiene, food safety, and organisational standards at all times
* Oversee stock ordering, control and wastage with efficiency and care
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness and effective prep at all times
* Inspire a positive kitchen culture where everyone pulls together
About you:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a high-volume pub, inn, or restaurant kitchen
* Creative flair with a passion for great food and local produce
* Strong leadership and communication skills—calm under pressure and a genuine team player.
* Organised and meticulous, with a hands-on approach to running a kitchen
* Commitment to high standards of food safety, hygiene, and allergen control
