We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Career Adviser to join our team for a 40-day delivery in term time only, starting in September 2025.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance to students.
2. Supporting the Careers Lead in achieving and maintaining the Gatsby Benchmarks.
3. Ensuring CEIAG Google Classrooms are regularly updated with current Labour Market Information (LMI) and relevant resources.
4. Delivering careers advice in one-to-one settings or group workshops/assemblies.
5. Arranging career talks and activities for students.
6. Engaging and inspiring young people, including those with SEND and from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as their parents/carers.
7. Supporting the Careers Leader to implement and enhance the school's careers programme.
8. Undertaking administration duties to ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications and experience required:
* Level 6 qualification in careers guidance (CIAG).
* Experience working with young people, preferably in educational settings.
* Knowledge of education, employment, training, and personal development opportunities.
* Experience working with vulnerable groups and those with SEND.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Our Careers Advisers work flexibly and independently, supported by the wider team. We welcome informal discussions; please contact us to connect with the relevant Contract Manager.

Salary & Benefits include:
* Up to £29,172 per annum FTE, based on Level 6 qualification.
