Job Overview
Deliver a range of projects that will help to keep the UK safe and secure. You will be responsible for the successful scheduling and delivery of a wide range of important projects, working in multi‑functional construction teams at locations in the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule project activities to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
* Develop, coach, and mentor colleagues in advanced project management techniques.
* Establish and manage the supply chain for each project, including forecasting and resource optimisation.
* Embed rigorous project risk and change management processes; escalating issues as required.
* Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for repeat and additional business.
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with the wider governance framework and health and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
* Prince 2 Practitioner, APM PMQ and ISEB certification in project management, or an equivalent discipline.
* Experience using NEC3/4, GC works or Fidic contracts and documentation for construction projects.
* Proven knowledge of applied project management methodologies in the design, development and implementation of multi‑disciplinary construction programmes.
* Experience deploying large, complex projects in secure environments.
* Good understanding of health and safety standards and procedures, including Construction Design Management 2015.
* Desirable memberships: RIBA, RICS, ICE, IStructE or CIBSE; APM or equivalent professional project management body.
* Practical knowledge of M_o_R®, MSP® and M_o_V® is advantageous.
