Summary
We are seeking a Field Service/Support Engineer to support and expand our services business segment by analyzing flight recorded data for airline customers.
The candidate should become knowledgeable about Teledyne Controls' products used in our services. Performs complex tasks and works on diverse problems where data analysis involves evaluating multiple factors. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, typically with little instruction on daily tasks and general guidance on new assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in technical support to enhance customer satisfaction by proactively implementing technical solutions.
* Develop and implement algorithms for Flight Data Analysis for safety, maintenance, and engineering purposes.
* Create reports from customer data analyzed by our platforms.
* Use tools like SQL, Tableau, etc., to extract meaningful insights from data.
* Program simple applications using Teledyne Controls tools.
* Resolve challenging customer issues tactfully and effectively.
* Support deployment, integration, and maintenance of software products within client networks in a fast-paced environment.
* Understand customer needs and identify new service opportunities.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical issues.
* Share best practices to improve service quality and efficiency.
* Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites and industry events as needed.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Brief team members on deployment, deliverables, and project status.
Education and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical, or related Engineering field.
* Minimum of two years' experience with custom software applications and data analysis.
* Understanding of aviation and/or avionics systems is essential.
* Experience with Tableau or similar Data Analysis/Visualization software is highly desirable.
Location: Must reside in the EU or UK, preferably near Toulouse, Heathrow, or Cumbernauld.
