An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic F&B & C&E Teams as an Assistant Event Manager. You'll be ensuring high standards of customer service, efficient execution of events, and the delivery of food and beverage services. Working closely with other Assistant Managers across the venue, supporting both the C&E and F&B Managers while taking the lead in managing on-the-ground operational teams, this role includes active involvement in the supervision and coordination of daily operations and contributing to strategic planning.
What we’re looking for
* A hands‑on approach with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
* A natural ability to upsell and inspire others to do the same.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments.
* Confidence in leading a team, delegating tasks, and maintaining high standards. Working collaboratively with other Assistant Managers to ensure consistency and efficiency across departments.
* Flexibility to work across a 7‑day rota, including evenings and weekends.
* Quick thinking and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
* The confidence and capability to run the venue as Duty Manager when required, ensuring operational oversight, guest satisfaction, and staff coordination during these shifts.
