Job Description
We are currently seeking aSenior Transport Coordinator to join our Transport team at our Minworth site on a full time permanent basis!
Salary:£37,332 per annum.
Shift Pattern:Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
As Senior Transport Coordinator you will manage and oversee the Transport operation, ensuring that service levels are achieved and maintained. Planning driver and vehicle resource to achieve delivery / collection times.
Key Duties of a Senior Transport Coordinator:
1. Optimising resource and adherence of WTD and drivers hours legislation.
2. Signing off and overseeing an effective transport plan to achieve on time delivery and collection performance expectations.
3. Overseeingown and subcontractor resource to achieve delivery / collection times, creating and updating daily run summary.
4. Effectively communicating with the Planning team, Customer service, other depots and when required, directly with customer.
