Your Responsibilities as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
1. Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil within a primary classroom
2. Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development
3. Adapting activities to meet individual needs
4. Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider staff
5. Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
What We’re Looking For
6. Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable, especially 1:1)
7. Experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEND is advantageous.
8. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
9. Patience, empathy, and resilience
10. A genuinemitment to supporting children’s development and wellbeing
