Salary £47,424 plus generous annual bonus
The Engineering Manageris responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities during the shift to ensure continuous and efficient operations. This role plays a crucial part in supervising a team of maintenance operatives (electrical and mechanical) optimising and maintaining all equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Supervise, lead and assist a team of maintenance operatives during the shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule.
2. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence in maintenance practices within the shift team.
3. Implement the maintenance strategy developed by the Maintenance/ Engineering Manager to ensure the reliability and functionality of critical machinery and equipment during operations
4. Coordinate closely with other departments to plan maintenance activities, minimise disruptions, and optimise production efficiency during shifts.
5. Manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies during the shift and initiate reordering maintenance supplies as necessary.
