Responsibilities
* Plan, execute, and oversee compliance projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
* Identify requirements and assign responsibilities to appropriate team members to facilitate effective project execution.
* Oversee coordination of internal resources and engagement of external consultants, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all information gathered.
* Develop agreed project plans, including defining objectives, deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation through consultation with stakeholders.
* Effectively identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions, implementing mitigation strategies to deliver within agreed timeframes.
* Identify and manage interdependencies within and outside of the projects to ensure coordinated delivery.
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
* Document and report actions, findings, and corrective actions.
* Manage key stakeholders by providing regular updates and ensuring that all submissions undergo thorough internal review before submission.
* Appropriately escalates issues to address delays or risks, facilitating timely resolution and maintaining project momentum.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the organisation.
Qualifications
* Professional knowledge of legal, regulatory and policy frameworks in financial services.
* Proven programme/project management competence, including successful delivery of the full project lifecycle from definition to benefits realisation, ideally within insurance, assistance or financial services sector.
* Experience managing multi‑million‑pound initiatives with major business risks and benefits.
* Accreditation in Prince 2 or Agile project/programme/portfolio delivery to practitioner level.
* Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills (influencing, negotiating, expectation and relationship management).
* Proven ability to provide challenge and feedback to project team.
* Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
